According to official reports from Emirates News Agency, the airline is strengthening its operations across Italy with more frequent flights connecting Dubai to key commercial hubs. Starting July 31, 2026, the revised schedule will feature double daily flights between Dubai and Milan-Bergamo, while also boosting its presence in Naples with daily round-trip services.
This expansion broadens flydubai’s overall footprint in Italy, which already includes three weekly flights to Catania Airport in Sicily and twice-weekly seasonal summer services to Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport in Sardinia, running until the end of August. In addition to increasing flight frequencies, the airline announced operational changes due to scheduled infrastructure work in Southern Italy. Specifically, between November 1 and November 30, 2026, flydubai will temporarily reroute its daily Dubai International Airport service to Salerno Costa d’Amalfi and Cilento Airport because of maintenance work at Naples International Airport. Flights to Naples are expected to resume on December 1, 2026, with passengers holding existing bookings automatically transferred to the Salerno route during this period.

The additional routes to Milan-Bergamo and Naples remain part of the existing codeshare partnership between flydubai and Emirates, enabling passengers to enjoy integrated itineraries, single-ticket purchases, synchronized schedules, and through-checked baggage across both airlines.
